About Us

The Farm of Conrad is an Equine Assisted Philosophy and Learning facility located near Conrad, Iowa. We use a ground-breaking, hands-on approach to growth, learning, and healing with the aid of horses as  catalysts for change. 

Our Mission

To provide equine assisted philosophy and learning where humans, horses, and hearts are reined together to bring emotional, mental, physical and social wellness for adults, children, and families.

Why Use Horses?

Horses are honest, which makes them especially powerful conduits for emotion. Like humans, horses have personalities. They provide opportunities for metaphorical learning to help resolve issues for the most challenged participants. Horses mirror human body language. Clients learn that changing their own attitudes and behavior can achieve different responses from their equine partner.
